A Sad Goodbye

After many hours of consideration I have decided to sell and hand over the boat and all operations to local angler Pete Rose I have had some great days out with you all and some (not so great days) in the past but I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all who have supported me right from the start of my adventure  all things must end sometime and for me this is the time to say goodbye and thank you

I will still be in charge and on-board until the end of October so no worries if you have places booked nothing will change and hopefully the only change will be the lack of my presence after that I know Pete will give 100% to his new venture he is a real easy going bloke who has been sea angling all his life born and bred in Whitby a true local skipper who I feel sure will give all you anglers a great day out I can only hope you support him as you did me when I first started out

He intends to carry on without any major changes to start with the web calendar will stay the same prices tackle even the phone number will stay the same the only small detail will be Pete’s  new email and home address which you will find on the (contact tab) please allow him some time to get up to speed with the Internet side of things he will not mind me saying his computer skills are basic at the moment but I intend to work along side him and his family until things become familiar so please be patient if some email replies take a little longer than normal and as always the most instant way to check availability is to simply call him on the boat phone 07855439380

once again many many thanks to you all

Mick.

p.s. I will still be around fishing from the Whitby charter boats from time to time so no doubt our paths will cross again until then adiós

Mick, I am so sorry to hear that you are giving up your boat, I know that my mates and I only managed to go out with you a few times, but you always made it a great day and gave 100%. Good luck in what ever you apply yourself to next.

Mick, sad to see you go. You ooze calm and patience, which made my first sea fishing trip very enjoyable. I learnt a lot that day. Good luck…

Mick, Fished with you once having fished for 20 years out of Bridlington. Really impressed by your boat, the fact you tried so hard to make a great day for myself + 3 others. Good luck for the future. DT
